1.Extreme resistance to seawater corrosion: High chloride content in coastal areas requires high-density concrete with a low water-binder ratio. Salt content is strictly limited to prevent reinforcement corrosion.

3.Resistance to wet-dry cycles and high frost resistance: Endures alternating tides and wet-dry conditions. In cold regions, it boasts an extremely high frost resistance rating, making it resistant to cracking and spalling.
4.Higher strength grades: Pile foundations, pile caps, and wharf piers commonly use C35–C45, with even higher grades for prestressed beams and slabs.
