Building construction concrete requires moderate strength, good economy, convenient pumpability, and the ability to meet residential safety and durability requirements.
Strength: For multi-story and ordinary small high-rise buildings, C25 and C30 are commonly used. For high-rise shear walls and columns, C30–C40 is typical. For foundations and basements, C30–C35 is generally used.
Durability: Carbonation resistance and freeze-thaw resistance are required.
