Qinzhou Port Phase II Project
The Qinzhou Port Phase II Project typically refers to the Second Phase of the Automated Container Terminal, a key component of the New Western Land-Sea Corridor aimed at enhancing port automation and intermodal transportation capacity. Located in the Dalanping South Operational Area of Qinzhou Port, the project involves the construction of two 200,000-ton-class fully automated container berths (Berths 9 and 10), with a water depth of 18 meters and a total quay length of 783 meters. The overall terminal handling capacity is 2.6 million TEUs, of which the Phase II project alone contributes a designed capacity of 1.61 million TEUs.The project employs a large-caisson gravity structure, with the maritime structures built to the standard for accommodating 200,000-ton-class container vessels. To ensure construction quality and efficiency, it incorporates 11 innovative technologies, including Building Information Modeling (BIM) and intelligent installation of large caissons.
