Guinan High Speed Railway
The Guiyang-Nanning High-Speed Railway (abbreviated as the Gui-Nan HSR) is a high-speed railway in China connecting Guiyang City in Guizhou Province and Nanning City in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. With a total length of approximately 482 kilometers, it is designed for a speed of 350 kilometers per hour. As a key component of the Baotou-Haikou Corridor under China's "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed rail network, it is also the first high-speed railway in Guangxi designed to operate at 350 km/h.
Construction of the pilot section of the Gui-Nan HSR began in December 2016, with full-scale civil engineering works commencing in December 2017. The Guiyang to Libo section opened for operation on August 8, 2023, while the Libo to Nanning section was fully connected on August 31, 2023, marking the completion of the entire line. The railway features 12 stations, including Guiyang North Station, Longli North Station, Guiding South Station, Duyun East Station, Libo Station, Hechi West Station, Yong'ancun Station, Du'an Station, Mashan Station, Nanning North Station, and Nanning East Station.
