Liuqin Expressway
The Liuqin Expressway (full name: Liujing to Qinzhou Port Expressway) is a key component of Guangxi's expressway network plan, specifically part of the "Four Vertical, Six Horizontal, and Three Branch Lines" layout. It serves as a major transportation project within the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone. Construction began on October 20, 2009, and the expressway opened to traffic on April 9, 2013. It is managed by the Qinzhou Expressway Operation Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Guangxi Communications Investment Group. During its construction, two secondary road connecting projects were simultaneously implemented: a 39-kilometer link from Liuwei to Liangqi and a 2.92-kilometer link from Luwu. The project passed the completion acceptance inspection by the Guangxi Department of Transportation in May 2019, with its engineering quality rated as "Excellent."
