Nanning Xianhu Bridge
The Xianhu Bridge (renamed Longgang Bridge in 2011) is a vital cross-river bridge over the Yongjiang River in Nanning City. The north end connects to Rongmo Avenue in Qingxiu District, while the south end links to Longgang Avenue in Yongning District. It is the only bridge directly connecting the Xianhu Economic Development Zone and the Wuxiang New District across the Yongjiang River. The bridge has a total length of 1,190 meters and a deck width of 28 meters. It is designed for dual four-lane traffic, featuring a 2-meter-wide central median and 3-meter-wide pedestrian sidewalks. The main bridge employs a prestressed reinforced concrete continuous rigid frame structure, with a maximum span of 145 meters and a maximum pier height of 30.5 meters. The navigation opening is designed to Class IV waterway standards, providing a vertical clearance of 10 meters and a horizontal clearance of 100 meters, sufficient to accommodate vessels of the corresponding class.
